Anyone making a film in the Yorkshire area? or the UK in general.

I ask because it seems to me that up here (Yorkshire) it is totally dead on that scene, and if it carries on much longer i will end up making one for myself.

Anyway....it seems that most of us are on here for the same reason so if anyone wants some help making some films then i will quite happily lend a hand for free...(as long as it isn't filmed in the back of a van )

I've done acting, camera, sound (fx and music) visual fx, made the tea, so if anyone is stuck gimmi a shout on here and we can talk via email, msn, pm etc.

    Hi there,

I'm planning a 60 second short film in the next six weeks or so. But other than that I'm working on software training video until at least the end of the year. Next year though I plan to make some proper short films. I may even get round to finally filming my ten minute script I've had planned for years.

Why not check out the local Unis and Colleges. Surely there will be people there making films.

Here's an idea for you Yorkshire filmmakers!

    Dumb Laws in England

York: Excluding Sundays, it is perfectly legal to shoot a Scotsman with a bow and arrow.

Make a spoof documentary about it!

Check out the Dumb Law in Liverpool... I'm down to the fish store now!
